We are looking for someone who has experience in high performing videos on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Social Media Video Editor at Surge Marketing. As a Social Media Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing video content for various social media platforms. This includes capturing and editing footage, adding graphics and special effects, and optimizing videos for maximum engagement. This is a hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Capcut
• Experience in creating engaging video content for social media platforms
• Strong knowledge of video editing techniques and best practices
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and creative skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus
• Knowledge of social media trends and best practices is a plus
• Portfolio of previous video editing work is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Previous history of viral content is highly desired
