We're seeking a part-time contractor with a deep understanding of the tech landscape, particularly software development and DevOps practices. You'll play a key role in creating compelling social media content that resonates with a highly technical audience.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our communications, content, and marketing teams to develop weekly social media content calendars. Our goal is to drive organic awareness and increase engagement, bringing more people into our free signup funnel during this exciting growth phase.
What You'll Do
Develop and Implement Strategy: Create a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with our brand goals and target audience, focusing on platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
Craft Engaging Content: Write high-quality, engaging copy for various social media posts, ensuring the content is both technically accurate and accessible.
Collaborate with Teams: Work with our marketing, content, and communications teams to ensure social media content reflects our latest features, benefits, and use cases.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor social media trends and technologies, especially those relevant to the developer community, to keep our strategy cutting-edge.
Community Management: Engage with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor community trends to foster a vibrant online community.
Analyze and Optimize: Measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
Support Visual Content: Work with the design team or create basic images to support your social media posts.
Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all digital content maintains a consistent tone and message.
Skills And Qualifications
Experience with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and technically accurate content.
Familiarity with social tracking tools like Sprout and HubSpot is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Knowledge of software development and DevOps practices.
Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
