The Social Media Specialist will support the marketing team by handling all social media activities, reporting, and specific campaigns. With a strong background in the auto finance or automotive industry, you will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, creating engaging content, and driving brand awareness and customer engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for social media trends and best practices.
This is a full-time, onsite role.
What You’ll Do
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
Create and curate engaging content tailored to each platform, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
Monitor and analyze social media metrics and insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies and goals.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our brand remains relevant and competitive.
Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders to amplify our brand’s reach and visibility.
Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic, leads, and conversions.
Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, including social listening.
Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
Are You A Fit?
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the auto finance or automotive industry.
Proven track record of creating successful social media campaigns and growing social media followings.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience with paid social media advertising and budget management.
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
Familiarity with CRM software and customer engagement tools.
