About The Role
We are seeking a freelance social media producer for an international multimedia news and media non-profit organization. The Producer will be responsible for daily content development, including creating social media content like vertical videos, user-generated content, and photography. This position reports directly to the CEO.
Independently manage and execute content creation and social media strategy
Create and schedule 3-4 social media posts per week
Pitch and produce social-first series for social media
Support planning and project management for content initiatives
Requirements
B.A. in Journalism or related field
2+ years of content creation production experience
2+ years of content development for Gen-Z and Millennial demographics
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools
Knowledge of social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
Strong interest in viral marketing and social media trends
Experience with analytics and listening tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional communication skills
