Position Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, content creation, and influencer marketing. You must possess a strong understanding of various social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You must demonstrate creativity in developing engaging content to drive brand awareness, engagement, traffic and growth with an eye towards children’s apparel and adherence to safety guidelines in the kids and family space. You must also have strong experience working with influencers on direct content collaborations, gifting programs and agency managed campaigns. And have experience with social media community management across different platforms. You must have a creative spirit and can-do attitude!

Responsibilities:


Manage social media across multiple brands, across multiple platforms

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, traffic and conversion across relevant platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Manage and maintain the company's social media profiles and presence, including creating and curating content, scheduling and publishing content, monitoring comments/messages and community management.
  • Build social media editorial calendars to drive engagement, celebrate brand moments and drive sales throughout the year and key selling seasons.
  • Utilize “boosting” and audience strategies to reach qualified consumers across social media and increase reach.
  • Ideate and execute social media big ideas to drive broader marketing KPIs.


Drive conversion/develop social commerce strategies

  • Utilize social media platforms to drive ecommerce sales.
  • Manage link shops, Instagram shopping and other social commerce tactics to drive traffic and conversion to ecommerce sites.


Create and curate social media content

  • Create quality, visually appealing video and static content tailored to each platform and target audience. Film, take photos and utilize editing apps.Travel to stores/physical retail locations, attend photoshoots and borrow garments in the office to capture/create on-brand content for our channels.


Influencer Marketing

  • Identify influencers for direct brand partnerships and content creation. Manage relationships and influencer collaborations end-to-end.
  • Work with influencer marketing agencies on managed influencer campaigns. Manage agency and timelines, review and approve influencers, review and approve content.
  • Manage and execute ongoing influencer gifting.
  • Manage influencer marketing platforms in-house or affiliate-based programs to build always-on influencer programs.


Stay on trend

  • Immerse yourself in the childrenswear category. Stay connected to the competitive set and kids/family trends.
  • Constantly discover influencers, celebrities and customer UGC for collaborations and content opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and platform updates, and adapt strategies accordingly to maximize results.


Collaborate with teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, graphic design, fashion design, and others to align social media initiatives with overall marketing and business objectives and execute on plans.


Analyze Performance

  • Work with marketing leadership to develop social media KPIs.
  • Analyze social media metrics and insights to evaluate campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports and recommendations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Social media experience within a direct-to-consumer company preferred. Apparel experience a plus.
  • Proven experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful social media campaigns and content creation across various platforms.
  • Proven experience in influencer marketing with strong experience working with creators directly, managing agency campaigns (ex. IZEA), and working with influencer platforms and/or affiliate networks (ex. Grin, Aspire IQ, LTK).
  • Must have previous experience with community management.
  • Affiliate marketing a plus.
  • Must be able to create as well as curate content for social media platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences and platforms.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software. Knowledge of Dash Hudson a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and optimize strategies accordingly. GA4 knowledge a plus.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams.
