Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the publication of digital content across various social platforms. You'll report to the Associate Director, Content & Engagement and collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Arts Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists.

The Social Media Manager will ensure that content is not only accurate and engaging but also aligned with our client brands' objectives. You'll work closely with Content & Engagement Managers, Content Editors, Copywriters, Designers, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of content publishing and engagement processes.

KEY FOCUS AREAS
Content Coordination and Management: Collaborate with Engagement Managers, Content Editors, Copywriters, and other stakeholders to plan and organize content publishing schedules. Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and style to maintain high-quality standards and ensure alignment with our branding guidelines, voice, and messaging.
Community Management: Engage with social media users across various platforms, providing value and support. Execute content posting and strategic community interactions, serving as a liaison between clients and communities for customer service inquiries. Stay attuned to social conversations, identifying trends and engagement opportunities.
Platform Management: Maintain best practices for publishing and updating content across client-specific platforms to optimize visibility and reach.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of content management systems and digital publishing tools. Troubleshoot technical issues related to content publishing and collaborate with IT teams when necessary.
Content Formatting and Enhancement: Format content appropriately for online consumption, enhancing it with relevant multimedia elements to improve readability and user experience.
Compliance and Copyright: Ensure all published content adheres to copyright and intellectual property regulations. Stay updated with industry trends, digital publishing best practices, and legal requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Creative, Project Management, and Account teams to align content publishing with overall marketing strategies. Communicate with different teams to gather necessary information and assets for content creation and publication.
Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure published content is error-free and meets the highest quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS + KEY FOCUS AREAS
1-3+ years of experience, preferably in an agency setting working with entertainment/brand clients
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
Proven experience in digital content publishing, content management, or similar roles
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
Proficiency in content management systems and basic image editing tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality content
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings
