We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and inventive Social Media Manager who is well-versed in the realms of digital communication, branding, and the music and entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of social media dynamics and an ability to craft captivating content that engages our diverse audience and elevates the presence of our clients.


Duties/Responsibilities:


Strategic Purpose: Responsible for overseeing an entertainment client’s daily social media output. Oversees and writes social media, graphic, and campaign copy that appeals to a young and culturally savvy audience. Provides detailed feedback on all content. Has an eye for quality control and strategy. Knows the ins and outs of all social media platforms, software, and best practices. A creative, fiercely independent, and curious person that develops conversation starters, campaigns, and content to engage with the communities of our clients.


  • Expert knowledge of a variety of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Maintain and develop a keen understanding of the social media, music, and entertainment industry and benchmark against top-performing social media creators in the sector
  • Write in multiple voices, from fun to humorous to inspirational, and tailor content according to both message and medium
  • Write posts that are accurate, clear, concise, and engaging for a variety of clients
  • Provide substantive feedback, from style to readability to copyediting to overall compellingness, on social media graphics and videos with the purpose of elevating the finished product
  • Oversee and implement on a range of Social Media Manager duties 
  • Maintain and schedule posts on social media software (Hootsuite, Publer, META’s Creator Studio etc)
  • Ideate, create, and post compelling Instagram Stories
  • Ideate, create, and post compelling TikTok content 
  • Ideate, create, and post compelling Twitter threads
  • Set up and host Twitter Spaces, Instagram Live, and Zoom events
  • Live tweet events and Twitter Spaces 
  • Engage with the community –from quote tweets to replies–across Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
  • Self-copy edit at a high level
  • Assess social media analytics and make pivots based on data
  • Have a pulse of what is trending across a variety of sectors and what sentiment is like throughout the day
  • Schedule out evergreen content and identify what solid evergreen content is
  • Analyze and identifies any weaknesses in client social media and digital marketing strategy and move to implement improvements 
  • Assess how your posts are doing in real-time and make micro pivots in how you are writing throughout the day
  • Ability to live on Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms, have your finger on the news and trend pulse, and jump on topics before other accounts do
  • Chime into conversations in your client’s voice
  • Ability to ask deep questions via quote tweet or reply, post polls in comments, chime in with the brand’s voice on a crypto hot topic, or elevate breaking news with a compelling quote tweet or IG Story share
  • Have proficiency in online moderation and community management
  • Comfort quickly switching gears and focus, moving from social media posting to content creation to campaign building throughout the day


Required Education/Experience: 

  • 3-5 years experience creating social media copy and content, ideally with an agency setting
  • 3-5 years experience overseeing social media staff and implementing digital campaigns
  • Prior experience within the crypto/blockchain industry is required, whether in a professional or personal capacity.

Compensation for this position is location-based, and salary ranges will vary depending on the geographical location of the role. Below is a list of typical cities where the position may be posted, each with its corresponding salary range:

  • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: $40,000-$60,000 salary; $20-$30 an hour contract
  • Miami, Florida: $40,000-$60,000 salary; $20-$30 an hour contract
  • Chicago, Illinois: $40,000-$60,000 salary; $20-$30 an hour contract
  • Austin, Texas: $40,000-$60,000 salary; $20-$30 an hour contract
  • San Diego, California: $40,000-$60,000 salary; $20-$30 an hour contract
  • Seattle, Washington: $40,000-$60,000 salary; $20-$30 an hour contract
  • Toronto, Canada: $40,000 - $50,000; $20-$25 an hour contract
  • Guadalajara, Mexico: $25,000 - $40,000; $15-$20 an hour contract
