Requirements

Spring Fertility is looking for a Social Media Intern to assist in the creation of content across Spring Fertility's organic social channels. We're looking for someone who is passionate about social media and reproductive health, has experience with in Canva and short-form video editing (experience editing for your own social accounts counts!), has their finger on the pulse of the latest social trends, platform updates, and features, and can bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table. The ideal candidate is a marketing or communications major seeking internship hours for their undergrad program. Student will gain valuable knowledge in content creation + social media skills while assisting in running day-to-day operations of brand's social media account. This role reports to the Senior Content Manager.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Assist Senior Content Manager in content ideation that support ongoing brand goals and marketing campaigns, considering current social media trends, influencers in the space, and ongoing performance insights
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including brand and creative to execute behind-the-scenes social content
  • Attend Spring events and outings (when possible) to assist in capture of photo and video content
  • Learn to schedule and post regularly following Spring Fertility's social media calendar, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn
  • Learn to research competitive landscape to share insights and trends in real-time
  • Assist in tracking, measuring, and reporting on social media KPIs and benchmarks for monthly and campaign performance, including interpreting data and turning into actionable insights
  • Assist in coordination of social media contests and giveaways with internal and external partners
  • Create social graphics for events, topical news stories, and more

Requirements

  • Availability to work ~8-10 hours/week on-site in Bryant Park, NYC clinic
  • College student seeking internship hours for undergraduate degree
  • Experience working in social media (other internship experience counts! Or even managing your own social accounts!)
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to service excellence
  • Ability to work both independently and within a larger team
  • Proven track record of successful relationship building and ability to meet productivity targets
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent judgement, communication and organizational skills
  • Passionate about reproductive health
  • Experience working within Canva/Photoshop (required), Loomly or other scheduling software (a plus!); if you're not familiar yet, we'll teach you!

Employment Type

This is a part time paid internship onsite in our New York City clinic.

Compensation

This internship will be paid at $16.00/hr
