What?

  • Design graphics for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and etc 
  • Research design patterns in the publishing industry and book market 
  • Design visual marketing experiments 
  • Give input/help design interface 

Why?

  • Put authors who don’t love marketing at ease with friendly, authentic posts 
  • Help establish a trustworthy brand that empowers indie authors 
  • Create intuitive color schemes and psychologically strong design choices 
  • Gain experience with an innovative, people-driven startup 

When + Where? 

  • Remote work 
  • ~ 5 hours to 10 hours a week 
  • From after interview to Aug 14th with big opportunities for continued positions 

Who? The ideal candidate...

  • Enjoys reading and/or writing fiction 
  • Is familiar with bookstagram and booktube/authortube 
  • Enjoys creating content (post, short-form, etc) on Canva, Illustrator, etc
  • Adaptive and receptive to feedback 
  • Owns their work enthusiastically
