About Our Client
Our client was founded in 1967 by a British farmer who became horrified by the development of modern, intensive factory farming. They have since become a leading farm animal welfare charity and today campaign peacefully to end all factory farming practices. In 2014 they established their US branch.
Requirements
Our client's US branch is seeking a part-time, fixed contract social media freelancer to play a vital role in expanding their reach and promoting the mission to end factory farming. Responsibilities will include social media management, community engagement, content creation, and strategic support.
Services:
Manage social media channels (focusing on Instagram, Facebook, and X) and engage with the online community by responding to messages and comments.
Develop and publish compelling content on social media channels to engage and inform the audience, within the topics of farmed animal welfare and animal-sourced foods reduction, 3 to 5 posts per week expected.
Track performance and improve the content strategy
(Lower priority for now) Collaborate with influencers to amplify reach
Be available for weekly 30-minute check-ins with the Public Engagement Manager.
