Blue Zones Health, a medical group specializing in lifestyle medicine for Medicare and commercial patients, is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager. This role involves managing all social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook, and any emerging channels. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a content release calendar, procuring and editing content, engaging with audiences, and collecting and reporting on various engagement KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Oversee and manage all social media platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging content delivery.
Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices to enhance our online presence.
Content Creation and Curation:
Develop and maintain a content release calendar with approved topics and materials.
Procure content from internal and external sources and make necessary edits to ensure quality and relevance.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing strategies.
Audience Engagement:
Actively engage with audiences on each platform, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
Foster a positive community and add value to user interactions.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and report on various engagement KPIs, including likes, shares, comments, and follower growth.
Use data insights to refine and improve social media strategies.
Ideal Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
3+ years of experience managing social media platforms, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Proven track record of creating engaging content and growing social media followings.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with lifestyle medicine and its benefits is a plus.
