About The Role:
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter to build and manage our social media presence from the ground up. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive actionable results for our sales team.
As our first marketing hire, this role is crucial in shaping MustardSeed PMO’s online presence and expanding our reach within the life sciences industry. You will have the unique opportunity to build our social media marketing strategy from scratch and produce content that is representative of the company.
This is a part or full-time position with flexible hours, offering the ideal candidate the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment. This role offers significant room for growth and opportunity to be the founding member of a marketing department.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to align with MustardSeed PMO’s business goals.
Create, curate, and manage content for all relevant social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
Monitor social media channels for industry trends, engagement opportunities, and competitor activities.
Build and grow a strong following on all social media platforms.
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster a sense of community.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with company objectives and brand voice.
Analyze and report on social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Skills Required:
Proven success in B2B marketing.
Strong understanding of the nuances associated with social media platforms and a deep interest in understanding what content works well.
Experience with organic social media content across various platforms.
Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and original content.
Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Marketing experience in the life sciences or related industries.
Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software.
