SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR


HYBRID ITO 2 DAYS A WEEK / NORTHERN SUBURBS

Our client, an Atlanta-based B2B agency specializing in government, non-profit, and cause marketing sectors, seeks a dynamic Social Media Coordinator to work on a contract basis. The role involves creating and managing existing content and social media platforms to promote this content. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, possess a keen eye for detail, and excel in managing high-quality content across multiple platforms.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write compelling articles and produce content on a variety of topics in alignment with campaign briefs and the agency's target audience.
  • Works closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, collaborating with team members to further develop creative concepts and formats for social media content, ensuring consistency with their brand identity and objectives.
  • Capture mobile video, manage settings, and utilize audio recording devices to create content for social media applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver content that exceeds expectations.
  • Create and execute social media content strategies to promote multimedia, boost engagement, and expand the audience.
  • Oversee the social content calendar and publish posts across multiple platforms, maintaining a consistent voice and brand identity.
  • Broad background working within social media across platforms, preferably B2B, including a strong focus on META and LinkedIn.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a social media content editor with a strong portfolio of published articles and videos.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Solid experience in social media project management with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.
  • A passion for multimedia storytelling and a desire to innovate and experiment with new formats and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Asana (or similar PM Software), Canva, and Meta is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field.
