Our client, an Atlanta-based B2B agency specializing in government, non-profit, and cause marketing sectors, seeks a dynamic Social Media Coordinator to work on a contract basis. The role involves creating and managing existing content and social media platforms to promote this content. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, possess a keen eye for detail, and excel in managing high-quality content across multiple platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write compelling articles and produce content on a variety of topics in alignment with campaign briefs and the agency's target audience.
Works closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, collaborating with team members to further develop creative concepts and formats for social media content, ensuring consistency with their brand identity and objectives.
Capture mobile video, manage settings, and utilize audio recording devices to create content for social media applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver content that exceeds expectations.
Create and execute social media content strategies to promote multimedia, boost engagement, and expand the audience.
Oversee the social content calendar and publish posts across multiple platforms, maintaining a consistent voice and brand identity.
Broad background working within social media across platforms, preferably B2B, including a strong focus on META and LinkedIn.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience as a social media content editor with a strong portfolio of published articles and videos.
Proficiency in managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Solid experience in social media project management with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.
A passion for multimedia storytelling and a desire to innovate and experiment with new formats and techniques.
Proficiency in Asana (or similar PM Software), Canva, and Meta is required.
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field.
