Playboy is seeking a Social Media Content Producer specialist to join our dynamic creative team. The Social Media Content Producer is a highly organized, creative partner who can craft Social Media first video content from start to finish, advise on video best practices, edit video projects from start to finish, ensure campaign goals are translated into strong, strategic, and on-brand video content, and come to the table with creative, on-brand ideas, while also taking into consideration video trends across social media to ensure high levels of engagement. This role is based in Los Angeles.

What You’ll Do - Job Responsibilities

Video & Content Creation & Editing (60%):

  • Produce, shoot, edit, and export short-form videos for Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
  • Oversee in-house production studio leading various video projects and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure feedback is implemented in a timely manner.
  • Produce, shoot, edit, and export long form brand videos (2-4 minutes) for YouTube
  • Create outlines & storyboards that combine a variety of storytelling narratives including soundbites, video b-roll and graphics.
  • Collaborate with creators & editors from pre-production to delivery, including providing feedback on edits, reviewing graphics and on-screen text.
  • Collaborate with cross functional marketing partners to plan and edit video products, including, but not limited to mood boards, rough drafts, and social media cuts.
  • Work closely with the Director of Social + Brand to develop and maintain organizational systems to manage and track content creation and the production process.

Project Management (20%):

  • Work closely with additional design team members to develop branded graphic and motion graphic templates for videos.
  • Manage all production and project administration, e.g. timelines, content decks, talent release forms.

Knowledge Share (20%):

  • Consistently stay up to date on video activation best practices, leveraging new and emerging platforms, tools, trends, influencers, and partnerships.
  • Participate in team creative brainstorms as it pertains to social first content across all channels.

What You’ll Bring - Qualifications And Skills

  • 3 + years working in content production with a particular focus on UGC style content.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Capcut.
  • Deep understanding of viral short-form content (hooks, retention, storytelling, pacing etc).
  • Passion for pop culture and knowledge of the latest social media trends (particularly on vertical platforms).
  • Proven ability to create video/shorts content that is current with existing and emerging trends and formats across various social media platforms.
  • Agency experience preferred but not required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as creative strategists and media buyers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Able to work flexible hours based on project and/or business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $80,000-$100,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
