Role: Social Media Associate (Part Time)

Pat McGrath Labs is seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Associate to manage the social media strategy and presence across various platforms with a focus on Instagram, especially on weekends. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, excellent content creation skills, and the ability to engage with the online community and must be a beauty passionate.   MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR WEEKEND HOURS.


Main Responsibilities:   

  • Manage and maintain social media presence across multiple platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc).
  • Create and curate high quality, enabling content (text, images, videos, stories) that resonates with the target audience
  • Conduct regular social media analytics and reporting to measure performance and inform future content and engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, PR, Customer Service, Digital, Creative, etc) to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaigns
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform changes
  • Manage and respond to social media inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify and leverage influencer marketing opportunities to expand reach and influence
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with social media policies and guidelines


Ideal Profile:

  • 1+ years of experience in social media marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing social media strategies
  • Excellent content creation and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc)
  • Knowledge of social media advertising platforms (Facebooks Ads, etc)
  • Strong collaboration skills with a project management approach

                                                            

Offer:

  • Salary range: ($24/hr for 15-20 hours/wk)
  • Remote (would need to come in for interview and maybe occasional in office event/meeting)
