Yacht Management South Florida is a veteran group of professionals committed to luxury yacht management. Our team provides stress-free yacht ownership to our clients with our Full-Service Boatyard and Marina, Dockside Care, and Superyacht Management divisions. Established in 2005, we have 90 full-time team members and are committed to maintaining the yachting experience for our clients.

Compensation and Commitment:

• Compensation: $15 per hour
• Schedule: Three days a week in person (Monday-Friday), with flexibility to accommodate your schedule

Internship Details:

• Position: Marketing and Social Media Intern
• Length: Three months, with extension opportunities based on performance
• Location: 3001 West State Road 84, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312

Internship Roles:

• Gain a comprehensive overview of all departments in a growing business by working closely with the Marketing Director.
• Focus on marketing and social media, involving content creation and leveraging trending topics to enhance our company's social presence and brand identity across platforms.
• Assist in coordinating and attending industry events such as Boat Shows and Yacht Hops.
• Perform administrative marketing tasks as needed.
• Experience with Constant Contact, Canva, and video editing software is a plus.

Skills Required:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box
• Knowledge of social media platforms and trends
• Proficiency in content creation and storytelling
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Demonstrated interest in social media, marketing, and event planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A passion for the yachting industry is a plus.

Internship Requirements:

• Proficiency in crafting content for various social platforms.
• Proficient in video and photo editing apps for content creation.
• Familiarity with Excel, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and PowerPoint.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must be a current college student seeking a four-year degree at an accredited university.
