Social Media and Marketing Intern

15 Seconds of Fame is a media and technology company that delivers your videos from live events directly to your phone. Our app transforms your TV and video board fan appearances into keepsake clips to share, save, and replay forever. 15SOF has partnerships with several leagues, including the NBA and MLB, and we're looking for qualified interns to join our social media and marketing team!

15SOF is a forward-thinking, fast-paced tech startup. Our team is small but mighty, and the interns hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills, a solid knowledge and understanding of social media (especially TikTok), and must be excited to brainstorm and add value to active and upcoming social media campaigns. This intern should be prepared to "wear many hats" and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of social media and digital marketing.

This internship is remote for Summer 2024 (June 17 - September 1).

This is a part-time (10-15 hours/week, 150 hours total), unpaid internship for current college students.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing tactics, plans, tools, and partnerships that help achieve business goals (audience growth, engagement, user acquisition, reach, etc.).
• Assist with daily searching through 15SOF content and league partnership games to find new content to post on our social channels.
• Assist with online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and more.
• Monitor trends and stay on top of the latest social media innovations (including memes, TikTok, trending hashtags, etc.).
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of key social networks and algorithms that inform our success on these networks.
