Job Summary: 

The Social Media and Content Manager at Colleen Rothschild Beauty plays a critical role in spearheading our social media and content creation department. This position requires a strategic mindset, blending a deep passion for the beauty industry with expert proficiency in content creation and community engagement. The role demands effective coordination with various internal teams to ensure a cohesive digital presence that aligns with the brand's strategic goals and overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

-Strategic Content Management:

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive social media content calendar aligned with the master marketing calendar, ensuring consistent, engaging, and audience-specific content across all platforms.
• Manage daily operations across social media channels, ensuring timely content scheduling and active community interaction.
• Employ strategies to expand and engage the community, fostering robust interactions and collaborations across platforms.

-Content Creation and Management:

• Produce a diverse range of content, from low-fidelity to high-definition, ensuring all media aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and communication goals.
• Craft compelling copy to accompany visual content, maintaining consistency with the brand’s voice.
• Execute high-quality photography and videography, capturing engaging visuals of products, events, and more.
• Engage on-camera for dynamic content creation and live event coverage, managing all aspects of production.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless integration of all content types into social media strategies, maintaining brand consistency.

-Campaign and Analytics Oversight:

• Monitor and analyze performance metrics across various platforms and campaigns to assess engagement, reach, and ROI.
• Execute and manage social media campaigns, including budgeting and resource allocation, to maximize campaign effectiveness based on detailed analytics.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Media, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or other related field is highly desired.
• Industry Experience: 5+ years in social media and digital content creation within the beauty industry, showcasing a progression of responsibilities.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in videography, photography and content editing, including familiarity with Canva and similar tools.
• Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of key social media platforms, proven ability to engage audiences and drive campaign success.
• Campaign Management: Experience in effectively managing social media campaigns and evergreen content with a solid grasp of KPIs and analytics.
• Communication: Excellent skills in communication and collaboration, adept at managing community interactions and team coordination.
• Copywriting: Robust copywriting and editing skills, capable of producing compelling, informative social media content.
• Organization: Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Creativity: Creative flair in storyboarding and developing resonant content for diverse audiences.
