Rogue Agency (www.rogueagency.co), a mission-focused boutique communications firm, is seeking an energetic and creative Social Media and Community Manager. This role involves managing the social media accounts of a renowned celebrity psychotherapist, relationship expert, and New York Times Bestselling Author with over 2 million followers on Instagram alone.


Our agency strives to empower purpose-driven companies and nonprofits with vibrant digital storytelling, impactful messaging and cutting edge strategy. We are looking for someone to join our team who has a sharp creative eye and is determined to take a proactive, passionate, and collaborative approach in maintaining and developing both the appearance and communication of all social media platforms while ensuring they align with the brand. In this role, we are looking for a team player with an energetic and excited spirit who is familiar with our client’s work. They’re a hard-worker, creative problem solver, and a multi-tasker that will hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Social Media + Community Manager Qualifications:

  • Experience managing social media accounts for robust personal or professional use
  • Experience in creating content for Instagram and TikTok
  • Ability to lightly edit videos and and basic photoshop skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills (for external comms and team meetings)
  • Understanding of social media analytics and experience in social media reporting
  • Experience working with Canva, Photoshop, and Descript is preferred
  • Experience managing large social media accounts and working with high profile/celebrity clientele is preferred but not required
  • New York based candidate is preferred. Position is remote with occasional in-person sessions (typically once a month but frequency may vary)


Social Media + Community Manager Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage engaging content tailored to the brand's voice and audience, ensuring consistency and creativity across all social media platforms.
  • Client-facing communications (including 1-on-1 sessions with our celebrity therapist)
  • Daily posting and community management across 6 platforms (TT, IG, FB, TW, LI, YT)
  • Assist with Influencer / Celebrity Relations through IG (and other platforms)
  • Assist with the planning of Photo / Video Shoots + Creative Brainstorming
  • Weekly Status Updates (Analytics) + Quarterly Report
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies to keep content fresh and engaging.
  • Provide administrative support including but not limited to content organization and coordination and the upkeep of a repository of key comments and messages for easy reference and analysis.
  • Ensure all media is prepared and posted as expected, taking a keen editorial eye to copy edits, spelling, grammar.


Part-Time role - 15 hours per week at $30/hr // Possibility for Full-Time
