Coordinate with IA 4-H Soccer Program Coordinator, Youth Program Specialist, County 4-H Staff, and Extension Regional Director:
Recruit Coach-Mentor, assist with soccer training.
Plan 4-H Soccer For Successs program session schedule.
Recruit and track participant/youth players.
Assist with securing facilities/sites for soccer program, utilizing Partnership Agreement templates.
Oversee 4-H Soccer For Success program facilitation. Support coach-mentors in curriculum delivery. Be onsite each scheduled soccer session.
Ensure youth-adult ratios are met. as well as manage other risks meeting ISUEO requirements.
Collect and report participant demographics.
Collect data for Impact reporting and assessments. Distribute surveys provided by the program.
Set-up and tear down equipment and supplies.
Ensure safe space for participants.
Complete equipment safety checks.
Supervise participants daily.
Connect with families to establish positive relationships with the Emmet County Extension Office.
Attend/Assist Coach-Mentor training.
Navigate Soccer For Success Resource Hub in preparation of soccer sessions
Follow Soccer For Success Coach-Mentor Blueprint
Attend scheduled 4-H meetings as required.

Eligible to work in the U.S.
H.S. diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Soccer experience
Additional Information
This temporary full-time position should be prepared to teach and encourage healthy lifestyles, create a sense of belonging through team, and invest in successful development of participants during the months of June, July, and August. The position will require the individual to organize and manage soccer sessions, coordinate with ISUEO staff and County staff, partner with city and school officials, and complete all required training and reporting.
