Description: Temporary seasonal position available from 10/1/2024 to 4/20/2025. Develop training curriculum, establish program calendar, and conduct group and individual instructor clinics for Adult Ski & Ride School, Children's Ski & Ride School, and Competition Services Departments Assist ski and ride school management with pre-season preparations. Teach Level 3 group and private lessons in both children and adult ski/snowboard programs. Assist in registration, fitting equipment, cleaning surface lifts, coordination of lessons and other duties as assigned. Requires PSIA Level 3 certification or international equivalent, in addition to 4 seasons (or 16months) ski/snowboard teaching experience as a trainer and/or instructor. This is being filed in support of a future H2B application. Teaching wage $26.65/hour. Overtime may occasionally be available and will be paid at the react of $39.98/hour (1.5 times the employee's base pay rate). This is a full-time position of at least 35 hours per week. 8am - 4:00pm A single workweek (Saturday - Friday) will be used in calculating wages due, and all workers will be paid every 2 weeks (bi-weekly on Thursdays). The employer will make all deductions from the paycheck that are required by law. There are no other deductions that will be taken. In accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(f); the employer guarantees to offer employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period, if the period of employment covered by the job order is 120 or more days, or each 6-week period, if the period of employment covered by the job order is less than 120 days, unless the certified period of employment is shortened due to unforeseeable circumstances outside the employer's control. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. The employer will also reimburse visa, border crossing and related government fees during the first work week. The worker will be provided with an outdoor uniform; and ski or snowboard equipment will be made available to the worker without charge. Employee housing is not provided by the employer.
