Showroom Design Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an Inside Sales / Design Consultant to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist homeowners/builders/designers/fabricators in selecting Natural stone and Quartz Slab Materials (countertops) for their projects
• Connect with customers by asking open-ended questions to assess customer's needs to make relevant merchandise/design suggestions
• Maintain appearance and organization of products in showroom
• Complete quotes, sales transactions, and processing of payments in a timely manner
• Stay current on all product knowledge to better communicate features and benefits to help build customer knowledge and confidence in our products
• Practice customer focus, collaboration, and communication with team members
• Perform additional duties as required or requested

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated with an ambition to succeed
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Skilled at making quality decisions and following written and verbal instructions to meet deadlines on tasks and projects
• Excellent people skills with a strong desire to provide the highest level of customer service
• General computer skills required
• Ability to learn quickly

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design is Preferred
• Minimum of 2 years customer service and/or related industry sales experience
• Previous experience in tile, plumbing, stone, and design are preferred
• Awareness and interest of the design industry
• Experience in showroom environment preferred
