This position requires the daily operation of an overhead crane by way of a handheld control device. You will move metal tubing and frames from the Welding Dept. to the Shot Blast Machine to get prepped for the Industrial Painting process. You will also operate the sit down forklift as well.
Essential Functions
Understand and perform machine setup.
Understand and read blueprints.
Climb up and down on ladder from manufacturing floor to top of shot blast platform
Train other employees on the tasks of a “Shot Blast Operator.”
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace.
Keep Management informed of status, issues, etc.
Manages Time and Resources.
Complies with Established Policies.

PAY RATE: $18.00-$21.00/HR
SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday 6:45am-5:30pm

Knowledge
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in manufacturing and production is a MUST.
Experience driving a forklift and using an overhead crane is a MUST.
ISO and SAP experience, a plus.
