Job Description

Position: Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Assistant

Temp-to-Hire

Location: Houston, TX 77073

Pay: $18-$22/ Hour DOE

Shift: M-F 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break.)

Main Duties:

  • Pull thread protectors from inventory and take to machine shop.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by palletizing/banding, wrapping, and/or or crating.
  • Load/unload outgoing incoming trucks, using a forklift the transport pallets.
  • Transport materials about the facility as needed.
  • Unpack incoming parts, separating as required and prepare for work in shop by palletizing.

Requirements:

  • Previous forklift experience/certification mandatory with 5000 lb.-class forklift. Experience on larger forklifts a plus.
  • Positive safety attitude.
  • Familiarity with oil industry products (pipe, threaded pipe and accessories, thread protectors) is desirable.
  • Drug test and background check.
  • Steel-toe shoes.
