Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Shift Engineer position are as follow:
Attend to all maintenance issues identified in the hotel suites, public areas, recreational facilities, lobby and restaurant
Maintain service and repairs for the HVAC equipment, washer/dryer, refrigeration and ice machines units
Conduct swimming pool testing and maintenance
Maintain and repair central mechanical systems including exhaust fans
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance and repairs
Work with all departments to ensure maintenance priorities are addressed to standard
Other Engineering duties as assigned
Position Status and Availability
The candidate selected for this position must be available to work a full-time, flexible (AM/PM) shift, Sunday - Saturday including holidays.
Certifications and Licenses
The candidate selected for this position must possess a valid 2nd Class Engineer Boiler's License issued by the City of New Orleans.
