What You'll Contribute

We are looking for a skilled CMDB Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This includes ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and comprehensiveness of the CMDB data, as well as working closely with other IT teams to support change management processes.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and manage the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Coordinate with various IT teams to gather information about IT assets and their relationships.
  • Support the change management process by providing necessary data and reports from the CMDB.
  • Develop and implement CMDB policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of the CMDB data and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training to other IT staff on CMDB use and updates.
  • Create and maintain documentation for CMDB processes, procedures, and data standards.

What You Have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with the Service Now platform.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a CMDB Administrator or a similar role in IT service management.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly configuration and change management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CMDB tools and software.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
