Job Summary

Own, undertake and direct the local seo strategy (on page and off page) for our multiple locations and support local seo improvement to our directory websites. Assist in orchestrating the search engine optimization team production processes, via a strong understanding of SEO, strategies and best practices, either directly, or through delegation. Delegate resources to execute, monitor, and inform against key strategic initiatives to stakeholders. Assist in the personal development of team members, through feedback loops, relationship building, and ultimately leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance is expected
• Expert in all things local SEO, must have experience with multiple locations (GMB, GMB landing pages, citations, and onpage)
• SEO experience working on large directories (think Airbnb/expedia)
• Strong Understanding of search engine optimization (on page, off page, technical, and local)
• Thorough understanding of AAC’s SEO standards and processes (after onboarding)
• Ability to accurately assess team(s) collective and individual contributor bandwidth
• Delegate SEO responsibilities to appropriate team member(s), working side by side with director of Content & SEO.
• Understand the internal content processes at a high level, in order to accurately and effectively assign and delegate tasks
• Expert level use of industry tools (ahrefs, semrush, brightedge, screamingfrog, localfalcon, urlprofiler, etc)
• Use project management software at an expert level
• Create and document seo standards that create best in class resources
• Support / Mentor multiple SEO and content team members
• Own multiple projects at once, adhere to timelines
  
  
  

Education/ Experience

• Education level Bachelors in Marketing / Business or related field
• Experience 2-4 Years Experience
• Specific skills Intense understanding of Local SEO, directory style websites, on page optimization. Expertise in keyword tracking, research and identifying high intent content topics.
• Personal Characteristics Sense of urgency, time management, ability to prioritize, data first approach. Knows how to work with a variety of stakeholders and personalities.
