As Ninety continues to experience exceptional growth, we are looking to bring on an SEO Marketing Manager to join our marketing organization and report to our Head of Content. We’re looking for an SEO strategist who is a skilled writer and communicator and able to articulate technical concepts to various teams. You’ll own our KPIs around organic search website traffic and help us create content that drives traffic, adheres to our brand, and leverages our expanding collection of educational materials that describe the time-tested concepts, tools, and disciplines associated with the art and science of building a great company.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant SaaS and/or SMB audience experience in managing strategies and technical and content SEO as part of a content team.
  • The ability to craft a 3-12 month SEO strategy, including assessing the current state, creating an objective plan to deliver against objectives, and managing that plan across keyword research, technical SEO, link building, and content creation
  • Demonstrated success in improving SEO rankings and the ability to show how you got there.
  • The ability to analyze data, articulate strategies, and share findings with leadership
  • Strong writing and research skills, including creating well-researched SEO outlines and drafts, editing for optimization, and working with a team to produce content
  • Familiarity with relevant tools such as Ahrefs, GA4, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Search Console, and other keyword research tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience as a people manager
  • Reliable internet and phone connection
  • Experience in, or are excited to work in an early-stage environment
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Research, Strategy, and Plan: Own and plan our 3-12 month SEO strategy, including developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to drive organic growth and improve our online presence.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant terms and opportunities for Ninety’s target audience and brand
  • You’ll execute the plan, working cross-functionality with teams to align with goals
  • Work with the content team to create content that meets goals while adhering to specific content guidelines
  • Ensure consistency and quality of content across all SEO content
  • Continually look for opportunities to optimize our website SEO content to improve rankings
  • Work cross-functionally with the content, marketing, and creative teams in the planning and creation of new content
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits, monitor traffic, and understand the impact of optimization
  • Manage the tactical execution of technical and on-page needs.
  • Stay up to date on emerging SEO trends and technologies that might impact our performance

What Success Looks Like:

  • Cracking the code on creating consistent SEO content for Ninety that ranks well, brings quality backlinks, and adheres to our content standards.
  • Ninety’s domain ranking and topical authority continue to improve.
  • Organic traffic is maintaining a 100% YoY growth rate while increasing time on page, pages per session, and conversion rates to leads/subscribers.
