We are seeking an eager, driven SEO Lead to join our Digital Marketing team to strategize and execute various search engine optimization initiatives and deliverables for our portfolio of world-class Clients.


Role Description:

An SEO Lead at AZDS is a driven, curious and agile leader, who has extensive experience in performing SEO tasks and initiatives, and preferably as part of a larger digital marketing team and/or agency.


Our ideal candidate excels at spearheading strategic SEO initiatives for our portfolio of the world’s leading luxury experience providers and to help them achieve their B2C digital marketing goals. This person is client-facing, and will serve as the primary point of contact with our customers and both direct as well as aid in execution of various SEO projects, initiatives and tasks for our globally-distributed client portfolio.

Working in one of the luxury travel industry’s premier digital agencies, your role will be multi-faceted, ever evolving, and requires high levels of teamwork, communication, emotional intelligence, and strong commitment to excellence.


Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary strategic account lead for all SEO-related Client strategic planning and performance reporting meetings 
  • Create SEO specific strategic plans, identify KPIs, and both assist in and direct other team members to execute tactical plans to accomplish objectives
  • Monitor performance and optimize tactics continually in support of Client performance goals
  • Provide reporting on key SEO metrics such as rankings, organic traffic, and conversions to Clients, as well as deliver actionable recommendations for continued optimizations
  • Ensure timely delivery of SEO campaign objectives
  • Identify new opportunities for organic growth on an ongoing basis
  • Create and present detailed competitor analyses
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize content and discover new opportunities
  • Create detailed briefs for content teams to execute
  • Identify and recommend solutions for technical SEO issues (SERP, Schema, etc.)
  • Create, maintain and evolve internal documentation for SEO best practices and processes
  • Direct internal team and assist in executing SEO updates for website pages, Google listings and more
  • Provide plans for technical SEO implementation for new website platform launches and direct technical SEO team to execute
  • Thorough understanding of Google Page Speed Core Vitals and how to ensure Desktop and Mobile Scores are greater than 75


Desired Skills:

·      4+ years proven experience in directly leading and delivering SEO strategies

·      Hands-on experience in conducting technical website audits, keyword research, and backlink analyses

·      Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to key stakeholders with ability to articulate data-driven strategies and recommendations

·      Experience in setting KPIs and reporting on SEO campaign effectiveness

·      4+ years managerial experience of SEO executional staff

·      Strong knowledge on technical and on-page SEO trends and methodologies

·      Hands on experience with tools such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, GA4, Search Console and others

·      Hands on experience with Google Page Speed Core Vitals

·      Hands on experience with Local Listings

Compensation and Benefits:

·     Competitive salary based on experience

·     Hybrid work opportunity, with 50% of work days able to be worked remotely

The estimated base salary range for this role is $70-125k, depending on experience, with an additional annual bonus opportunity.
