The Role:

The Writer and Editor will develop and edit a variety of short and long-form written materials, including web pages, blog posts, articles, ad copy, email templates, scripts, case studies, and more. They will take ownership of simple writing projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with product knowledge, our messaging guide, and company goals. Additionally, the Writer will support Product & Solutions Marketing Managers (PSMs) by assisting with grammar corrections, brand voice consistency, and editing in general. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills as a Writer for a fast-growing, enterprise software platform. You will report to the Product & Solutions Marketing Sr. Director, Strategy.


You Will:

  • Develop and edit a wide range of content, ensuring it positions Ping Identity's products and solutions.
  • Work with content and campaign strategists to audit and evaluate existing content against our current messaging guide to determine and write necessary copy changes.
  • Assist PSMs with writing tasks such as grammar corrections and editing whitepapers and coordinate with content production teams and resources.
  • Ensure all content reflects the accurate "voice" and tone of the brand.
  • Perform thorough reviews and edits to maintain high-quality standards.


You Have:

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong grasp of grammar and style.
  • Basic understanding of Ping Identity's products and solutions, and messaging.
  • Ability to work closely with content strategy, PSMs, campaign managers, and content production teams.
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all written materials.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.


You Have an Advantage if You Have:

  • Strong technical comprehension
  • Prior experience in product-related or technical writing content creation.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Asana, and Slack.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), security, or SaaS/software solutions.
  • Familiarity with current SEO and gen AI best practices.


Base Hiring Range: $114,500 - $143,424

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
