Summary

As a Senior Videographer at The BAM Companies, you will play a crucial role in shaping our visual storytelling and brand identity. You will be responsible for creating, developing, and producing high-quality video content that supports the company’s marketing strategies, showcases our properties, and engages our community. This position requires a candidate with extensive experience in videography, a strong creative vision, and the technical skills to bring that vision to life.

Essential Job Functions

• Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and internal communications.
• Creative Direction: Develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects that align with the company’s brand and marketing goals.
• Post-Production: Perform post-production tasks including editing, color correction, sound design, and adding visual effects to ensure a polished final product.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and manage video equipment, ensuring all tools and technology are in optimal working condition.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, property managers, and other departments to ensure video content meets strategic objectives and company standards.
• Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of a comprehensive video content strategy that enhances the company’s online presence and engagement.
• Mentorship & Development: Mentor and provide guidance to junior videographers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technology, and best practices in videography to continuously improve BAM’s video production quality.

Required Competencies

• Professional Experience: 5–10 years of experience in videography, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), and familiarity with video production equipment.
• Creative Vision: Exceptional ability to develop and execute creative concepts that align with brand identity and marketing goals.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Guidance & Mentorship: Ability to mentor and guide other videographers on staff.
• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Indianapolis, IN.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and video production equipment.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move video production equipment, up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position; hours of work will vary Monday - Friday and may include weekends.

Travel

This is a primarily local assignment during the business day, although some out-of-area travel will be expected.

Work Authorization

Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.

Pay: $57,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
