Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Location: Houston, Texas


Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing teams. This role is pivotal in driving our company's growth and market presence by leveraging innovative sales strategies and cutting-edge marketing techniques. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a robust track record in sales excellence and marketing innovation.


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in sales and marketing or consulting within relevant industries.
  • Proven experience in sales of consulting services or managed services and relationship management preferred in complex energy software in ETRM or CTRM sectors highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking and business acumen with a history of achieving significant revenue growth.
  • Ability to establish a personal brand in the industry as a thought leader, partner and advocate to all stakeholder groups.
  • Experience working with remote teams across time zones and geographies.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, plan, and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to enhance product visibility and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated to maximize profitability.
  • Spearhead market research efforts to tailor strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of promotional campaigns, adjusting strategies in real-time based on market feedback and performance metrics.
  • Maintain and cultivate strategic relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and stakeholders to strengthen market positioning.
  • Ensure optimal team performance through rigorous training programs and performance reviews.
