Please note, this position is not with FORVIS LLC. We are working with a dynamic specialty construction group located in the Knoxville, TN that is seeking an experienced Senior VP to join their team.


Position Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Operational Services will be a key member of the executive leadership team, collaborating closely with the CFO, Market Presidents, and other senior executives. This role will develop, maintain, and oversee core business processes within Project Controls, Quality, Fleet Management, and Estimating. The ideal candidate will be experienced in various capacities within the engineering or construction management sciences field, with a strong understanding of building projects and extensive formative experience including fieldwork.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the development of consistent enterprise business processes across core functions including Project Controls, Quality Control, Fleet Management, and Estimating to ensure operational excellence and industry best practice adherence.
  • Partner with executive leadership to implement the strategic plan effectively, engage in periodic strategic realignments, and contribute to the development of strategies aimed at enhancing business growth and profitability.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of staffing strategies to ensure adequate resources and talent alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas of focus above, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the team, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.

Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the engineering or construction industry, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
  • Willingness to relocate to Knoxville, TN, and travel as needed for business requirements.
