**Join our Team as Vice President of Distribution**
Our company is currently looking for a results-driven Vice President of Distribution to oversee and enhance our distribution and warehousing operations across various locations in the United States. Based in Mayville, Wisconsin, this pivotal role involves leading strategic initiatives focused on optimizing team performance, increasing sales and gross profit, streamlining distribution processes, and ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction. We are seeking a candidate who excels in building strong relationships with dealers and cultivating a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
**Team Leadership and Communication**
Lead and manage the distribution team, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency.
Provide guidance on budget requirements and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.
**Stakeholder Relationships and Reporting**
Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to align with business objectives.
Analyze and report on distribution performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
**Operational Excellence and Compliance**
Oversee all aspects of distribution operations including receiving, storage, and fulfillment to uphold excellence.
Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs while ensuring compliance with regulations.
**Collaboration and Development**
Collaborate closely with the executive team to establish ambitious yet attainable operational processes.
Coach and mentor Territory Managers to promote effective communication and address operational challenges.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Distribution.
Proven ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering cooperation and communication.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
Minimum 5 years of management experience.
