Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SVP of Finance and Accounting to join our Executive Leadership Team. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring financial health, strategic financial planning, and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting within the Healthcare IT services industry, extensive experience with private equity, and proven leadership skills. This role requires strong strategic vision and hands-on approach to execution with the ability to drive departmental priorities.

Other Responsibilities Will Be

Strategic Financial Management:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash forecasting, and analysis.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.

Financial Operations

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance and accounting department.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
  • Oversee audit process.

Private Equity Management

  • Liaise with private equity partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage capital structure, banking requirements, and investor relations.
  • Ensure compliance with private equity reporting requirements.

Leadership And Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure the team’s alignment with company goals and performance metrics.

Financial Reporting And Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate external audits and implement audit recommendations.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies.

Business Performance

  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis and modeling.

This Position Will Require The Following Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Consulting experience a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Extensive experience in the Healthcare IT services industry.
  • Experience with accounting system implementation.
  • Proven track record of working with private equity-backed companies.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
