Join our cutting-edge Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility as a Senior Mechanical Utilities Engineer! You'll be the go-to expert for designing, installing, qualifying, maintaining, and enhancing our utility systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Projects: Drive engineering projects to meet technical, budget, and schedule goals.
  • Innovate: Evaluate, select, and implement new equipment or system modifications with a focus on economic, environmental, quality, and productivity impacts.
  • Problem-Solve: Use OE Tools to diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement measurable improvements.
  • Collaborate: Work with key customer groups to develop consensus on repair or modification plans.
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans and budgets, ensuring desired results are achieved. Utilize tools like MS Project.
  • Document & Review: Prepare and review operational, safety, and maintenance procedures.
  • Mentor: Guide and develop other engineers, providing training for safe and reliable equipment operation.
  • Supervise: Oversee contractors and delegate project duties within the team.
  • Safety Advocate: Promote and enforce EHS rules and policies, escalating risks when necessary.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years as a utilities/facility engineer in the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry
  • Project engineering experience
  • Proven ability to complete projects on time and within budget

Preferred:

  • 10+ years of engineering experience
  • Knowledge of utility systems for bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing (e.g., purified water systems, clean steam, compressors, boilers, chillers, HVAC, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with peers and senior personnel across disciplines
  • Leadership experience on cross-functional teams

Additional Details:

  • Standard work hours (40-hour week), with occasional after-hours support
  • Some travel may be required
