InfraHire is looking for Senior Underwriter / Underwriter in Greater Houston
Role Description
This position is a full-time on-site role, located in our Sugar Land, TX head office, for a Senior Underwriter/Underwriter. The Senior Underwriter/Underwriter will be responsible for analyzing credit data and assessing risks to determine approval, application of appropriate terms, and for the structuring of all transaction components.
Qualifications
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Experience in commercial lending in the credit risk assessment and underwriting function.
Proficient understanding of collateral, structure, pricing, and lending policies.
Prior experience in underwriting for invoice factoring, asset-based lending, and/or purchase order financing is a plus.
Bachelor's degree (in accounting, finance, or a related field) is preferred but not required if the candidate has relevant experience in underwriting and credit risk assessment functions.
Working knowledge of relevant tax, accounting, and legal issues is a plus.
