To be successful in the role of Senior Travel Advisor you must have a strong sales drive, at least 5-7 years of travel advisor experience, an existing IATAN PRIN or equivalent accreditation, and organizational skills with an immaculate eye for detail.

After years in an agency environment, you continue to be passionate for travel and connecting people, but are also looking for more autonomy, ways to boost your income and the advantages of belonging to a larger, highly experienced peer group.

What does a Trip Concierge Travel Advisor do?

At Trip Concierge we cater to both business and leisure travelers. Your main job is to sell international and domestic luxury travel, like hotel stays, flights, cruises, rental cars and tour packages. You will be helping to build travel itineraries and sharing your knowledge and expertise from personal experiences. The goal being to develop long standing relationships with customers to build referral and repeat business.

As you progress you will be evaluated to determine proficiencies in sales, customer service, and meeting goals. Successful completion of evaluations may result in continued growth opportunities to expand into leadership as a manager.

Required / Preferred Skills

  • A high school diploma is required, but we prefer you have a college degree in business, sales or marketing.
  • You need to be able to pass comprehensive criminal background check.
  • We prefer candidates with at least 5-7 years of travel advisor experience in either a corporate or leisure travel setting.
  • You must be available to work irregular hours and some evenings to support customers.
  • You can work from home, but you must maintain regular business hours.
  • You are driven by sales and exceeding your goals
  • You are computer savvy with the ability to navigate between multiple systems and web browsers, Microsoft Office, and can type at least 30WPM
  • You have a strong and very comfortable relationship with paperwork and you are very organized!
