Senior Tax Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance, reporting, and planning duties. This role requires a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and manage 1099 reporting
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities.
• Assist with preparation of foreign filings (5471 & 8865) and review support for externally prepared forms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, finance, and legal departments on various tax-related issues.
• Mentor and train junior tax analysts on tax compliance and reporting processes.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience in tax (Partnership experience a plus)
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including proficiency in federal, state, and local tax compliance.
• CPA or candidate for CPA exam
