As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will be a key part of PSC’s project delivery team, responsible for managing strategic, large, or complex project engagements, and for fostering, maintaining, and expanding strategic client relationships. You are also responsible for mentoring, managing, and training other PSC team members as needed. You will have sufficient corporate sustainability knowledge to serve as your clients' core sustainability resource, expertly guiding your clients throughout their sustainability journey. You will also support PSC business and operational decisions.
Core Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Quality
- Manage strategic, large, or complex client engagements, and support other client engagements, as assigned
- Serve as a technical or topic lead for the PSC team, in an area of your expertise
- Maintain and expand key client relationships
- Maintain professional and exceptional client communications
- Provide expert, educational, and supportive recommendations and customer service
- Develop and deliver succinct, clear, and high-quality final deliverables (e.g., reports and presentations)
- Conduct quality control checks and expert review on client deliverables
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to PSC staff and owners, as needed
Strategy & Marketing
- Support business development efforts, as assigned
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and/or approving client proposals
- Identify and advise on strategic business opportunities and partnerships
- Manage, mentor, and guide PSC team members
- Ensure all client deliverables and external communications are high quality and professional, and align with PSC standards
- Identify and develop marketing collateral, including case studies and website updates
- Identify opportunities and ideas for business growth and / or expansion
Operations & Management
- Manage select scopes of work, including budgets, hours tracking and invoicing
- Support the development and implementation of business procedures and operations
- Manage PSC team members, as assigned, and serve as a professional and personal mentor
- Develop and deliver trainings and guidance to PSC team members
- Support the recruitment and selection of strategic hires for PSC

Eligibility Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in corporate sustainability, sustainability consulting, or related field
- Master's degree in sustainability, environment, engineering, or another related field
- OR
- 7+ years of experience in corporate sustainability, sustainability consulting, or related field
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environment, engineering, or another related field
