Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Senior Supply Chain and IT Category Manager !

Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Supply Chain and IT Category Manager. Reporting directly to the Lead Hardware Category Manager this role is integral to supporting the supply chain needs of project deployments for eDepot, Volta, Hubs, and OTG teams, while also managing IT and development category spend to ensure competitiveness, business case realization (BCR), and data privacy compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Strategy Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute strategic procurement plans for supply chain and IT categories, aligning with project deployment timelines, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers within the supply chain and IT categories, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize value and performance.
  • Project Deployment Support: Provide supply chain expertise and support to project deployment teams for eDepot, Volta, Hubs, and OTG, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of necessary resources, equipment, and services; coordinate with the supply chain with regard to delivery timelines and inventory level management.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze category spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and reliability standards.
  • Procurement Compliance: Work closely with project teams to ensure that procurement decisions align with BCR requirements; and ensure that procurement activities within the IT and development categories comply with data privacy regulations and standards, mitigating risks and safeguarding sensitive information.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance against key metrics, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality, delivery, and service levels.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and legal, to understand project requirements, align procurement strategies, and address any supply chain or IT-related challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, with a focus on supply chain and IT categories.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive value through supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with project deployment processes and supply chain management in a technology-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of IT and development category spend management, including hardware, software, and professional services.
  • Understanding of business case development and realization principles.
  • Familiarity with Shell procurement policies and data privacy regulations such as GDPR and BCR.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
