Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain and Operations Analyst who specializes in operations optimization and cost reduction. This role will focus on developing and reviewing supply chain, financial, and operations models to drive efficiency and effectiveness in supply chain operations and inventory management. Strong SQL skills are essential for data analysis and modeling purposes.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize supply chain, financial, and operations models to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance metrics.
Analyze and interpret data using SQL and other tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Operations to gather data, validate assumptions, and implement recommendations.
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate different operational strategies and their impact on costs and performance.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analyses to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations and inventory management, and develop reports to track performance over time.
Support the implementation of process improvements and operational changes by providing analytical support and actionable insights.
Participate in projects related to systems implementations, process reengineering, and supply chain network optimization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain analysis, operations optimization, or related roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Proven track record of developing and implementing supply chain and operations models to achieve cost reduction and operational efficiencies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time.
Experience in inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and supply chain planning methodologies is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior management
