In this role, you will be responsible for leading the experiential marketing strategy and execution to deliver breakthrough experiences and events.
You’re a strategic, detail-oriented event marketer who can flawlessly execute a range of events. You will lead the charge to deliver impactful and memorable brand experiences to maximize brand visibility and engagement while ensuring a world-class experience at every touchpoint.
Project management married with creativity is central to success in this position. You will be a creative force and an exceptional collaborator, with experience working across the organization to meet a variety of team goals. You maintain a current and passionate awareness of innovations and trends within the experiential marketing space.
The ideal candidate should have experience developing strategy, evaluating and socializing opportunities, leading negotiations, and managing large-scale execution of national partnerships. You will be responsible for ensuring that experiences align with Red Canary’s overall marketing strategy, deliver on brand objectives, and tie into an integrated marketing campaign. What You'll Do
Establish yourself as a powerful event marketer that collaborates cross-functionally to execute world-class experiences at national and regional trade shows, large-scale events, small-scale events, and quick-turn activations
Execute experiential marketing strategies that inspire real-world audience interaction, using participatory, hands-on tactics and materials to show the community not just what we offer, but what we stand for
Collaborate with teams across the company—including demand generation, sales, customer success, digital, content marketing, brand marketing, and leadership—to deliver end-to-end, brand-defining experiences.
Oversee the implementation of activations and experiences to include venue/vendor contracting, materials management, transportation, and onsite management
Track, benchmark, and report on key performance indicators
Set up detailed project documentation, roles and responsibilities, timelines, and budgets that clearly define goals, expectations and manage post-project reporting
Communicate key dates, action items, and updates regularly with project team and stakeholders to ensure on-time execution of event deliverables
Work alongside regional sales teams to develop and execute the strategy for in-territory events while also leveraging national events to build pipeline and close deals
What You'll Bring
7+ years of B2B marketing experience
3+ years agency and/or direct brand marketing experience working with branded experiential events
Motivated, positive self-starter with a bias for action and who thrives on working in the environment of a rapidly evolving business
A creative mindset with an obsession for details and impeccable, flawless execution
Proven track record of measuring program success/ROI
Exceptional communication skills including active listening
Proactively engages in forward thinking and innovative initiatives in the business and scales them to their own work
Understands Red Canary's overall strategy and partners with cross-functional teams to shape a joint strategy and visionExperience planning and implementing marketing programs with cross-functional partners
Executes independently and proactively identifies and leads work streams and projects
Owns event execution and leads others (direct and indirect) to meet deadlines while maintaining quality of the work
Is able to identify when others on the team need help and can work with them to resolve issuesExperience working towards strategic goals preferred
Experience with planning and carrying out multiple, sophisticated marketing programs preferred
A passion for building brands and challenging the status quo, with a cultural awareness that informs key concepts and emerging trends
Proven success in executing multiple events and using both internal and external resources
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects based on business needs
Ability to influence and drive decisions to completion by executing the plan while being flexible to unforeseen changes
Compensation Range: $95,200 - $107,000 + bonus and equity
