SENIOR SPECIALIST, RETAIL OPERATIONS

Title Nine is looking for a Sr. Specialist, Retail Operations to join our Retail Team. The Sr. Specialist, Retail Operations develops and refines our retail processes and procedures to ensure the operational efficiency of our retail stores and support growth. The Sr. Specialist, Retail Operations develops customer facing and non customer facing processes that are consistent with our brand. Based out of our Emeryville office Monday-Thursday with the ability to work remotely on Fridays, this role will travel to our retail stores as needed (up to 15% of total time)

Job Responsibilities

• Create Retail Processes that both support our retail growth and reflects our brand values
• Daily communication with retail stores through the Retail Communication Log and the Weekly Wire
• Update and maintain the Retail Calendar
• Submit Monthly Sales Reports to Landlords
• Maintain all internal documents to include EOD/EOM logs, Sales and Payroll Reporting and store schedules
• Oversee yearly budgets in areas of operational control to include:
• All store collateral including Posters, retail signage, event signage, etc.
• Retail Store Facilities Management
• Supplies and packaging supplies
• Store Build Outs, store closures, store improvements and remodels as needed.
• Approve, code and submit all invoices pertaining to retail operations including but not limited to facilities, marketing collateral, utilities etc.
• Submit and approve all store supply orders
• Oversee store maintenance and upgrades: prioritizing as needed with the Director of Retail and working with Store Managers to identify trusted vendors and schedule appointments as needed
• Retail Systems expert working closely with our IT team to troubleshoot all POS and retail systems- related issues. Work with store teams, accounting and IT to manage all upgrades and system process changes.
• Oversee the Cycle Count and Physical Inventory process in retail stores to ensure accurate inventory counts. Identify problem areas and stores with shrink rates above .02% and work one on one with stores on an action plan to reverse a negative trend.
• Continue to streamline and find efficiencies to operational processes such as store send backs, transfers, RTV’s, Bad Returns and workarounds in SCIS/NetSuite
• Take on special projects as needed

You also have

• Multi-channel specialty retail experience and proven ability to develop infrastructure to support our multi-channel company
• Strong MS Office/Google Docs experience (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Expertise in retail POS systems and integration into ERP or operational production systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Diplomacy and CAN-DO attitude
• Detail oriented and organized
• Expertise in retail POS systems and integration into ERP or operational production systems is highly desirable
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 25lb
