Position Overview: The Sr. Solutions Consultant will play a critical role in the sales process by providing deep technical expertise and solutions-oriented consulting to our enterprise clients. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in pre-sales engineering or solutions consulting within the SaaS industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
    • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.
    • Address technical questions and concerns, providing expert guidance on solution capabilities and integrations.
  • Solution Design and Consulting:
    • Analyze client business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using our solutions.
    • Develop customized solution proposals that align with client needs and business objectives.
    • Work closely with clients to ensure successful solution design and implementation planning.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings, including features, functionality, and integrations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide relevant insights to clients.
    • Serve as a technical resource for the sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in enterprise accounts.
    • Conduct workshops, webinars, and training sessions to educate clients on solution benefits and best practices.
    • Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales by working closely with the implementation and customer success teams.
  • Solution Advocacy:
    • Gather and relay client feedback to the product management team to inform product development and enhancements.
    • Advocate for client needs and requirements within the company, ensuring our solutions continue to meet market demands.
    • Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote our solutions and build brand awareness.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer, or similar role in a SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated success in providing technical consulting and solution design for enterprise clients.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and enterprise resource planning solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented value propositions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
