  • Our client is looking for a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join the Enterprise Integration team.
  • You will work with architects, engineers, system owners, product managers, and business leaders at multiple levels to design and build highly scalable, flexible, and resilient integrations that address business problems and accelerate "building the road to space”!
  • As a member of the team, you will also shape the Integration platform at our client to empower partner teams to build secure, scalable, world-class integration solutions.
  • You will apply your software engineering expertise, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
  • Collaborate with architects, customers, data owners, and engineers to develop and evolve a platform to improve the speed of delivery of integrations.
  • Design/Develop/Engineer scalable, observable, to deliver sustainable integration pipelines with the goal of delivering value through data and system integrations.
  • Dive deep into the data for source and target systems to understand how the integration will deliver business value, map the data, and develop the integration.
  • Apply the latest research and industry trends to build best-in-class enterprise integrations.
  • Build solution prototypes and conduct experiments to evaluate alternatives.
  • Mentor and coach fellow and junior engineers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in the design and development of cloud-native solutions, micro-services, and backend systems
  • 5+ years experience designing, building, deploying, operating, and scaling distributed systems
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Integration platform services such as MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.
  • 3+ years experience in designing/building event-driven and real-time integrations
  • Experience with API Management (APIM) is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Java, Go, or Rust
  • Advanced level SQL and scripting (Python/Bash etc.) skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

Desired:

  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar analytical field.
  • Manufacturing and/or Aerospace experience
