This Opportunity
Truveta aims to make complex healthcare insights accessible to a broad spectrum of users. To realize this goal, we are looking for creative and capable user interface experts to build modern web-based product surfaces.
As part of an integrated agile team, we are seeking UX software engineers who:
- Will collaborate with other engineers, product designers and the company leadership to build annotation and normalization tools.
- Will implement complex features such as text highlighting, tagging, and categorization within large paragraphs to facilitate data labeling for machine learning.
- Collaborate with ML engineers to understand the data annotation needs and translate these into effective software solutions.
- Determine and apply the right building blocks, test harnesses and processes that pave the way for continuous evolution of the experience.
- Are willing to learn along with the rest of the company and its customers.
- Are customer obsessed, creating a world-class reputation for quality.
- Seek and respond to feedback from users and stakeholders.
- Have a willingness to commit to ongoing training on key topics like privacy, ethics, and security.
- BS/MS degree in CS or related technical discipline or equivalent years of experience.
- 5+ years of professional development experience designing, coding and debugging.
- Web development experience using React and Typescript. We also use Mobx, Redux, Material UI on our web stack.
- Optimize application performance to handle a vast amount of data without compromising the user experience.
- Familiarity with building dashboards, forms and graphical visualization to generate insights from data.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design.
- Prior experience in developing tools for machine learning or data annotation as well as a passion for AI and its potential to transform industries.
- Experience with any of the modern public clouds, especially Azure is a plus.

We Offer
- Interesting and meaningful work for every career stage
- The hourly pay for this position is $63-$80 per hour. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
