Senior Scientist - Electronic Warfare (EW) Location Arlington, VA 22217 US (Primary) Job Type Full-Time Education Bachelor's Degree How much will you travel if the job requires it? 0 - 25% Minimum Security Clearance Required TS Job Description Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking a subject matter expert in Electronic Warfare (EW) to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and its ongoing Science and Technology portfolio. The individual should have expertise and recent experience in developing EW technologies that include: improved threat warning systems; Electronic Warfare Support (ES) sensing for wide-area spectrum awareness; decoys and countermeasures against weapon tracking and guidance systems; Electronic Attack (EA) against adversary C5ISR; and Electronic Protection (EP) of our own weapons and C5ISR from intentional and unintentional interference. Job Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current TOP SECRET Clearance and eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Intelligence (SCI) or the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET Clearance and eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Intelligence (SCI).
• Recent experience in developing EW technologies in areas that include: improved threat warning systems; Electronic Warfare Support (ES) sensing for wide-area spectrum awareness; decoys and countermeasures against weapon tracking and guidance systems; Electronic Attack (EA) against adversary C5ISR; and Electronic Protection (EP) of our own weapons and C5ISR from intentional and unintentional interference.
• Expertise in one or more of the areas of Radio Frequency (RF) EW (from DC to terahertz), Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) EW (from ultraviolet to long-wave IR), Multi-Function RF Systems, and integrated EW technologies such as multi-mode (mixed RF and EO/IR) systems, network-enabled capabilities, hardkill/softkill integration, and modeling and simulation techniques,
• Expertise or operational knowledge in existing naval EW systems such as: SEWIP, SLQ-32, Next Gen Jammer, Nulka, and Advanced Off-Board Electronic Warfare (AOEW) is desired. EDUCATION:
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from an accredited college or university in mathematics, engineering, physics, or related sciences plus 15 years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in mathematics, engineering, physics, or related sciences plus 20 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in mathematics, engineering, physics, or related sciences plus 25 years of relevant work experience.
