Job Summary
Provide Project Control and Scheduling support services to the NNSA Capital Projects mission being performed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), LLC. The primary focus of these support efforts shall provide assistance and support to the SRNS NNSA Capital Projects initiative by the valuation of the various project scopes, costs, schedules, and management plans and development of support procedures and processes for project integration interface with engineering and procurement.
DUTIES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business with 10 years related experience or
Associate’s degree with 12 years related experience.
Experience/Skills
At SRS’s option, related experience may be substituted for education. In certain cases, depending on the needs of NNSA Capital Projects the following will be considered in lieu of minimum education and experience: unique education, specialized experience, skills, and/or knowledge, specialized training, nationally recognized certification, military training and/or experience, quantity, and quantity of experience, and/or exceptional Grade Point Average.
Education (1 Qualification) Bachelor’s degree in business with 10 years related experience or Associate’s degree with 12 years related experience. Experience/Skills (6 Qualification records) Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years (preferred). Minimum of 10 years related scheduling experience. Candidate must have strong problem solving, analysis and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills. Reviews work for completeness as required by project specifications and scope definitions. Work with Estimating to ensure smooth, error-free integration of P6 activities with Hard Dollar and Cobra. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. Licenses (6 Qualification records) Reference check to evaluate performance capability. Candidate’s telephone number is included. Offeror must identify as a sub-tier company if applicable with proposal. (Reference BOA article regarding limitations on subcontracting) U.S. Citizen Required Qualification – “Candidate is actively supporting SRNS via full service employment or a staff augmentation task order agreement (includes subtier agreements).” Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.

DUTIES
- Combine working schedules aligned with the proposed technical approach to form a single integrated schedule.
- Oversee development of schedule by schedulers.
- Participate in review process and ensure comments and feedback are implemented.
- Applies standard cost and/or scheduling data to departmental programs or systems.
- Provide monthly updated project schedules and reports to project management, project controls, and NNSA.
- Manage office schedules and coordinate deliverables and commitments.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
- Work with technical and project staff to develop schedules for planning and operational purposes, actively interfacing with all NNSA Capital Projects.
- Provide a monthly report to reflect opportunities to improve schedules, efficiencies, and project end dates.
- Prepare and distribute reports documenting the results of actions taken on behalf of NNSA Capital projects and reports.
- Prepare detailed work plans in P6 schedules on a weekly basis.
- Utilize schedule, basis of estimate, and work breakdown structure (WBS) data dictionary.

- A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch. Work hours in excess of forty hours a week may be required, as authorized by SRNS management.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. Supplier shall possess a positive FOCI determination from DOE which includes “Q” security clearance level. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. After award, the selected candidate will be notified when to apply for a clearance based on specific work assignments. Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years are preferred.
- General Education Development (GED) or vocational degree = high school diploma
- A.S./A.A. degree = Two (2) year general experience
- B.S./B.A. = Four (4) additional general experience
- M.S./M.A. = Six (6) years additional general experience
- Ph.D. = Eight (8) years additional general experience
