Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational goals
Provide leadership and guidance to the proposal preparation team, fostering high-performance towards success of the sales leads
Oversee the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for proposals
Review and edit proposals to ensure they align with client needs and objectives
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Use market insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, proposal success rates, and other relevant metrics
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Qualifications/Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
Proven experience 6 + years in senior sales and/or proposal management roles
Strong leadership and team management skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Must be able to regularly travel to trade shows and retail locations
